Security software engineer

Job Description

As a Java EE developer with 3 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and performance tuning multi-tiered Java applications. Your expertise should include working with tools and frameworks commonly used by software engineers, such as:- Core Java, Java web components, REST Web services, Spring Boot, and Angular JS- Testing tools like JUnit, Selenium, and Cucumber- Automated Build tools like Gradle, Jenkins, and Tekton- Code Analysis tools such as Sonarqube, Sonargraph, and FindBugs- IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ- Backlog tools like CA Central (Rally) or Jira- Source code repositories like Accurev or GITAdditionally, you should have experience in Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and knowledge of relational databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Active Directory. Familiarity with Cloud platforms and Agile delivery methodology is also required. Experience working on Ford Java projects or GCP will be preferred. Having Access management/IAM Domain knowledge will be considered an advantage.Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of all elements of software development with end-to-end accountability.- Collaborate with architects to select architecture direction.- Manage the long-term delivery roadmap of the software product.- Guide and coach other software engineers on product teams.- Develop software, often with a paired partner, to deliver user stories and valuable working software.- Create automated tests to ensure software functionality, user story acceptance, and to detect regression defects.- Review and resolve continuous integration build failures.- Enhance continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes and improving quality gates.- Monitor application performance metrics and set up automated notifications for production failures.- Conduct exploratory testing to identify software deficiencies not covered by automated testing.- Participate actively in all team Agile ceremonies.- Screen candidates for placement onto product teams.- Organize team learning events.Qualifications:- B.E in Computer Science or IT.
