Senior Data Analyst - IT

Job Description

As a member of the Global Tax Product Team, you will be responsible for managing global applications for tax determination and tax reporting services. This includes providing support for cloud services such as Vertex OSeries on Demand for tax determination and Vertex TPE for reporting (Tax Data Hub). You will work closely with tax systems experts in the office of tax council (OTC) to meet the requirements of global customers for existing applications and services, as well as for new projects.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with Tax Business and various interface applications to understand, document, and elicit business and integration requirements.- Propose solutions to enhance data quality in the Tax Data Hub application, including reports and extracts.- Identify and resolve data quality issues by working with business interface teams and vendors, including reconciliation with General Ledger data.- Review and enhance the capability and quality of feeders and reports generated from the Tax Data Hub.- Provide guidance to TDH Technical/Development & Support teams on solution aspects and production support activities.- Assist the OTC team in preparing monthly tax reports.- Support the iERP project for the effective transition of data sources from legacy systems to iERP.Qualifications Required:- 5 years of IT business & data analysis experience.- Proficiency in data analysis tools/languages such as Python, IICS, Informatica, Alteryx, and other relevant skills.- Strong knowledge of database skills including BigQuery, PostGresSQL, Oracle.- Passion for understanding underlying business processes in the Office of Tax Council.- Experience working with integration teams.- Familiarity with Agile Framework & Tools and the PDO model.- Experience with SaaS projects will be advantageous.- Previous experience related to Tax will be preferred.- Ability to lead technical design and implementation.
