Job Description

    As a (Senior) Engineer in Asset Management, your role will involve managing and proactively contributing to key responsibilities in capacity planning and optimization for MEO and GEO satellite fleets. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of customers technical and commercial requirements, SES assets, and product offerings to identify alternate scenarios for sales deals and optimize satellite and gateway resources. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Managing day-to-day activities for satellite and gateway resources of GEO on fleet, GEO off fleet, and MEO fleet through Capacity Planning and Optimization tools- Advising on resources availability, analyzing regrooming options, and proactively resolving contention for assigned satellites- Contributing to the integration of new assets and developing customer solutions with complex resource assignment issues- Supporting the development of Asset Management processes and requirements for resource management and optimization tools- Contributing to emergency response activities as part of the teamYour competencies should include the ability to work in a high-paced environment, prioritize tasks, take ownership, and demonstrate leadership skills. You should also have advanced data analytical skills, financial acuity, and excellent communication skills. The qualifications and experience required for this role include an engineering bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, at least 5 years of professional experience with 3 years in capacity management, technical knowledge of satellite technologies, and proficiency in CRM and financial tools. Programming skills and experience with tools like PowerBI are a plus. This role requires a proactive approach towards optimizing SES in-orbit assets.Overall, as a (Senior) Engineer in Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in optimizing satellite resources to meet revenue targets and maximize SESs revenue potential.
