As a Senior Developer in the Applications Development team at TransUnion, you will be responsible for developing integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform. Your role will involve collaborating with multiple teams to ensure accurate information delivery to business users. Working closely with business analysts, solution architects, and DevOps engineers, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of global system integration solutions. Your involvement will be crucial in enhancing technical standards and best practices, particularly within the realms of MuleSoft and APIs.- Participate in defining and delivering integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for medium to large projects.- Collaborate with solution architects to grasp business requirements and translate them into solutions that enhance user experience, especially in terms of APIs.- Plan, design, and develop customer software within an agile environment, leveraging your proficiency in Core Java.- Guide junior team members and contribute effectively to an integration team comprising diverse individuals across different geographies.- Focus on enhancing the software delivery pipeline as part of the CI/CD journey to ensure the teams success.- Report any blockers, issues, or risks to your manager to ensure timely delivery of solutions as per agreed timelines.With a minimum of 8 years of software development experience and at least 5 years of experience in MuleSoft, you will be well-versed in designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation using tools such as Anypoint API Designer, Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint API Portal, and Anypoint Studio. Your expertise in security APIs and experience with high-volume, high-concurrency applications will be valuable assets in this role.Your hands-on approach to the development process, coupled with your strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, will contribute to the teams success. Your solid knowledge of Object-Oriented design principles and awareness of technology and product trends, especially in open source, DevOps, and Big Data, will be beneficial for the teams growth.
