Job Description

    As a Senior Systems Engineer at Freshworks, you will be responsible for architecting services that are fast, secure, and built to last across various products and platforms. Your role will involve owning the design, deployment, and evolution of critical systems impacting everything from login to logs.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop backend systems and APIs with reliability and modularity in mind.- Architect services to support multi-tenant cloud-native applications.- Own the full lifecycle from requirement gathering to design, implementation, and support.- Ensure high availability (99.99%), security, and monitoring of production systems.Qualifications Required:- 3 to 5 years of experience in building backend systems or infrastructure.- Proficiency in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Software Design, API & Database Design.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex scenarios.- Ability to optimize code and system designs for performance and efficiency.- Experience in code reviews, CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.- Familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL, and queuing systems.- Knowledge of observability, rate limiting, and multi-region deployments.The company is committed to providing equal opportunities and believes in the diversity of the workplace to create a vibrant and richer environment that supports the goals of employees, communities, and the business.Please note that the job offers remote work and is a full-time position.
