Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior Angular Developer at CGI, you will be responsible for developing scalable and high-performance applications by primarily focusing on front-end coding using Angular. You will collaborate with a team of front-end and backend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver quality solutions to meet client needs. There is also an opportunity for growth into a lead/mentorship role as projects scale.Key Responsibilities:- Build, optimize, and maintain Angular components- Integrate backend APIs and microservices- Support the lead Angular developer to ensure UI delivery continuity- Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning, and best practicesQualifications Required:Must-Have Skills:- Strong proficiency in Angular 14, TypeScript, RxJS/NgRx, HTML5/CSS3, REST APIs- Experience with web services and API development- Experience with MVC 4- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication and collaboration skillsNice-to-Have Skills:- Exposure to CouchD/NoSQL databases, microservices, and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus)- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologiesEducation Qualification:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceAdditional Company Details:At CGI, life is about ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.
