Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer at BNP Paribas India Solutions, specifically in the Alternative Fund Services department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify software features and enhancements, providing technical leadership to junior developers, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting software issues, and staying updated on emerging trends in software development, including cloud technologies and microservices architecture. You will also be involved in developing RESTful APIs, front-end applications, implementing security features, and writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features and enhancements.- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.- Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets quality standards.- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed.- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, including cloud technologies and microservices architecture.- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.- Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular.- Implement security features such as authentication and authorization using Spring Security.- Implement database access and management using Hibernate and other ORM frameworks.- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.- Contribute to improving existing processes and application performance.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.- 7 to 9 years of experience in Core Java, J2EE, Junit, Microservices, Webservices (API), Spring Boot, Spring related frameworks, Hibernate, Design Patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and data structures.- Good knowledge in GWT and Cloud concepts.- Experience in writing test cases (Jasmine & Karma).- Exposure to SQL Server, SQL queries, Packages, stored procedures, functions, and database modeling.- Exposure to Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
