As a Senior Vice President- Application Development Manager at BNY, your role will involve architecting streaming data ingestion and integration with downstream systems, implementing AI-driven data pipeline orchestrator, and developing a unified alerting and monitoring framework. You will also design AI-powered onboarding of new data sources, deliver scalable cloud data services and APIs, and engage with stakeholders to gather requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Architect streaming data ingestion and integration with downstream systems- Implement AI-driven data pipeline orchestrator- Develop a unified alerting and monitoring framework- Design AI-powered onboarding of new data sources- Deliver scalable cloud data services and APIs- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present concise summaries of proposed solutions- Lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems- Ensure expected application performance levels by coordinating, coding, testing, implementing, and documenting well-designed, testable, and efficient code- Actively participate in peer code and data pipeline reviewsQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related field; advanced degree preferred- 15-20 years of experience in application development and data engineering- 7 years of Python programming focused on data processing and distributed systems- Exposure to AI-based advanced techniques and tools- Strong understanding of database fundamentals, including data modeling, advanced SQL development and optimization, ELT/ETL processes, and DBT- 7 years designing and administering cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)- Experience with Java, Oracle, Kafka, MS SQL Server, Druid, Qlik/Golden Gate CDC, Visualization frameworks like Dash and Power BI is a plusAt BNY, you will be part of a culture that allows for company growth, employee success, and the opportunity to collaborate with clients using cutting-edge AI and breakthrough technologies.
