As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at HBK, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate technology experts in the test, measurement, and data analytics industry. Your role will involve collaborating closely with colleagues from various business functions and contributing to the global R&D team.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop real-time and high throughput data software applications for the global R&D department- Set up software designs, implement code, and test the overall system in collaboration with hardware and testing teams- Create new embedded software functionality running on x86, ARM, and DSP platforms interacting with FPGA logic- Develop new unit tests for new functionality and extend existing unit tests- Evaluate and maintain new or existing products, concepts, and technologies- Contribute to and maintain the function domain technology roadmap- Create documentation including technical, test, reporting, specification, and manual**Qualifications Required:**- 5-7 years of experience in embedded software development, with 4 years specifically in similar roles- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Technology- Demonstrable experience in object-oriented programming languages such as C and C#- Experience in embedded software implementation on Linux, RTOS, and Windows- Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in the Scrum master role- Experience in product development, with instrumentation preferred- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence would be advantageous- Knowledge of Test and Measurement domain is an advantageAt HBK, you can expect a work environment that values integrity, teamwork, and boldness.
