Job Description

    As a Supermarket Store Associate at SANTHI SUPER STORE, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.- Handle cash and digital payments accurately using the billing system.- Unpack new stock and organize items on shelves following the FIFO method.- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store to create a welcoming environment.- Inform customers about ongoing offers and loyalty programs to enhance their shopping experience.Qualifications Required:- Education: High School (10th/12th Pass) or equivalent.- Experience: Previous retail or supermarket experience is preferred but not mandatory for freshers.- Skills: Proficient in basic math for billing and comfortable using a smartphone/computer.- Attributes: Friendly demeanor, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.- Language: Fluency in Tamil with a basic understanding of English.In addition to your responsibilities, you will be based at the store located in West Tambaram, Chennai. The job offers a monthly salary ranging from 10,000 to 35,000 with additional benefits such as monthly performance bonuses and staff discounts. The working hours are full-time and the position is permanent. As an added advantage, food is provided at the workplace.Please note that this job requires you to work in person at the supermarket store.
