Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst Lead (Payments) at FIS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of payments testing across Cards, Schemes, and transaction processing systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will be key in maintaining high standards of testing practices.**Role Overview:**You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating manual and automated test scripts, data sets, and other test artifacts needed to execute the test plan effectively. Your role will also involve conducting test plan/case reviews with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications, and communicating testing activities and findings clearly.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop, maintain, and keep up to date manual and automated test scripts, data sets, and other test artifacts- Conduct and facilitate test plan/case reviews with internal and external stakeholders- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications- Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written forms- Track and monitor defects in JIRA, scheduling defects triage with the development team as required**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing within the Payments domain- Experience with applications such as IST Switch, IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex, IST Epay, Event Broker, Code Connect- Knowledge of network message standards such as AS2805 or ISO8583- Familiarity with test management tools like Test Rail, JIRA, Zephyr, or similar- Hands-on testing experience with multiple card Schemes including Mastercard, Visa, Amex/JCB, Diners/Discover, UnionPay, and EFTPOS- Strong background in payments testing, transaction flows, authorizations, clearing, settlement, and dispute/chargeback processes- Understanding of standard SDLC and various types of testing (e.g., FT, SIT, UAT, etc)- Proficiency with engineering tools like Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, or similarAt FIS, you will have the opportunity to be part of the worlds leading FinTech product MNC, work in a vibrant team, and build a career in the core banking/payments domain.
