Job Description

    As a Lean Six Sigma Support Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in providing coordinated support to the Lean Six Sigma team in a remote environment. Your responsibilities will focus on administrative coordination, stakeholder liaison, communication and training material development, schedule and logistics management, performance tracking with Power BI, project oversight, and ensuring compliance with timelines and safety standards to drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain contact with various Hitachi personnel to address Lean Six Sigma-related topics, fostering collaboration and alignment.- Partner with the communications department to create, refine, and ensure effective rollout of Lean Six Sigma messaging and updates.- Create scripts and develop training materials for Lean Six Sigma sessions using PowerPoint to support knowledge sharing and skill development.- Manage calendars for Lean Six Sigma meetings and trainings, including scheduling, updates, and coordination.- Facilitate Lean Six Sigma trainings and meetings, ensuring alignment with objectives and efficient operation.- Monitor Lean Six Sigma improvement indicators using Power BI, analyzing data to support enhancements.- Track and manage projects for team members and trainees, providing oversight on progress and milestones.- Offer ongoing assistance for foundational Lean Six Sigma team activities and project controls.- Engage stakeholders through transparent communication and facilitate knowledge sharing effectively.- Exhibit strong planning, time management, and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.- Build cooperative relationships in a remote environment and contribute to a positive culture.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in a relevant field with 3 to 6 years of experience.- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.- Strong planning, time management, and multitasking abilities.- Skilled in developing, monitoring, and visualizing performance indicators for data-informed decisions.- Knowledgeable in Lean principles like PDCA and Kaizen for consistent results.- Ability to engage diverse parties, manage conflicts, and provide coordination support.- Compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies.
