Vice President - Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager at Wells Fargo, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of financial advisors, focusing on diverse and complex business groups. Your responsibilities will include:- Managing and developing a team of financial advisors on various financial matters such as forecasting financial metrics, conducting operating and strategic reviews.- Ensuring efficient execution of finance strategy through thorough financial and economic research.- Making recommendations for product pricing, portfolio performance, key metrics forecasting, and data validation to more experienced management.- Leading the implementation of complex projects impacting multiple lines of business.- Collaborating with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives, ensuring compliance and managing risk effectively.- Mentoring and guiding the talent development of direct reports, as well as assisting in hiring talent.- Managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the Finance department.Qualifications required for this role include:- 4 years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.- 2 years of Leadership experience.- Desired qualifications such as an MBA, Cost & Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst.- Strong expertise in FP&A including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and working with senior leaders to provide strategic solutions.- Hands-on experience in various financial reporting aspects and tools such as Essbase, Hyperion, and Cognos.- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros, Business Intelligence tools, and Powerpoint.- People management experience for a minimum of 3 years.- Good understanding of Accounting and preferably knowledge of US GAAP.- Previous experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly brokerage, is strongly preferred.In addition to the qualifications, as a Finance Manager, you are expected to have:- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic business focus.- Reputation for being highly responsive, adaptable, and results-driven in a complex organization.- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.- Ability to deliver high-quality analytics, insights, and reports related to KPIs and metrics.- Good automation and transformation skills, especially with reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau.- Manage the allocation of people, goals, objectives, ratings, and appraisals of team members reporting to you.At Wells Fargo, diversity, equity, and inclusion are valued in the workplace, and the company welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
