In this role of Application Engineering Technical Lead at EY, you will lead a team providing senior-level IT technical services across platforms, overseeing secure API integration, aligning architecture with user and enterprise goals, and driving software documentation standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Hire, evaluate, and supervise the team, providing guidance, training, and setting performance standards- Provide senior-level IT technical lead and architecture services for critical projects, including development, design, implementation, and maintenance- Lead and ensure the viability of IT deliverables, approve technical deliverables, conduct testing, and provide production support- Identify and approve technical solutions, resolve technical problems, communicate with stakeholders, and maintain knowledge of IT development standards- Develop code and test artifacts, maintain technical documentation, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with the team to amplify productivity- Oversee data flow integration, drive cross-functional collaboration, and establish software documentation standards**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on application engineering- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field- Experience in leading technical teams, proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript), understanding of software architecture, agile methodologies, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, databases, and strong problem-solving skills**Skills and Attributes for Success:**- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills- Constantly updating yourself about new technologies- Winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisorIn this role, you will work in a collaborative environment, constantly updating yourself with new technologies, and becoming a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
