Job Description

    Overview:Job Description Summary: The Consumer Electronics Sales Specialist is responsible for managing business development, strategic planning, and sales within the Consumer Electronics vertical. This role involves managing sales for an assigned territory, which includes multiple states. The ideal candidate should have a background in sales within the electronics manufacturing industry and be capable of achieving sales objectives by generating and converting incremental sales opportunities. They should demonstrate effective selling skills and consistently meet or exceed sales forecasts.Job Responsibilities:
    1. Consumer Electronics Vertical:
      • Gain a deep understanding of the sales ecosystem movement for manufacturing in India.
      • Collaborate with Global Key Account Managers, Area Segment Marketers, and Application Development Engineers to stay updated on the latest specifications and new product applications for key customer segments.
      • Utilize acquired information to identify and convert potential sales opportunities within the India ecosystem.
      • Develop a 3-5 year strategic growth plan based on available data and align investments and support accordingly.
      • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the consumer electronics segment.
    2. Territory Responsibilities for North Zone of Consumer Electronics Vertical:
      • Manage sales territory, ensuring account penetration, distribution, and area coverage.
      • Foster strong, long-lasting customer relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
      • Supervise distributor sales teams within the territory.
      • Design and execute a strategic sales plan to exceed growth expectations and expand the customer base.
    Skills, Expertise, and Qualifications Required:
    1. Consumer Electronics Vertical:
      • Understand customer pain points and collaborate with the design team to enhance products using the portfolio.
      • Familiarity with competitor offerings and the unique selling points (USP)
      • Provide customers with insights on potential problems in real field conditions and how can overcome them.
      • Thorough knowledge of offerings for the consumer electronics market.
      • Have a macro view of the industry and offer meaningful insights to customers to enhance their competitiveness.
      • Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and terminologies.
      • Collaborate with convertors to understand the journey of part from source plant to end customer and the value addition at each stage.
      • Stay informed about industry investments and generate leads to present offerings.
    2. Other Skills:
      • Preferred location: Delhi NCR.
      • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electronics industry.
      • Previous experience working in the assigned territory.
      • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
      • Previous experience with OEMs, CMs, or ODMs in the electronics industry is desirable.
      • Proficiency in Standard Chinese is not required but preferred.
