Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Individual will be responsible for diverse functions of business requiring, initiative, sound decision-making and confidentiality for the employer and a team of principals in his/her reporting line. The individual will rely on excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple clients/products and will need to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments and in line with the organizations activities and goals. Duties may be expanded to include coordinating meetings (international and local), coordinating extensive international travel arrangements, preparation and submission of expenses. Primarily, the individual will engage customer and clients in cultivating business opportunities; s/he will exercise independent judgment, escalating serious or unique opportunities to higher levels. The individual may provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members. International Travel will be part of the mandate of this profile.Salary + Perks:- Fixed Rs 35000/- PM.Commission : Up to Rs. 350000/- PA. . (Performance based)Job RequirementsEducation :-

  • Masters degree, preferably in a Logistics, International Business or a Financial discipline
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), MS Outlook,
  • General comfort level with Internet/Intranet (i.e. Google Search) usage and ability to learn proprietary software/Applications
Favorable Skills :-
  • Significant experience in Import/Export and Foreign Trade compliance
  • Professional and influential interaction with clients and suppliers
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills as well as ability to assist in strategy development
  • Valid Passport to enable travel internationally
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
Preference :-
  • Proven track record of management of Import/Export operations within a company
  • Experience in dealing with Indian Customs compliance procedures
  • Previous Foreign travel
Job ExperienceAn International Trade Manager should have 6-8 yrs of prior experience out of 4 in the relevant industry is a must.DutiesAn International Trade Manager will have a wide range of duties that deal with companys operations this will include identifying the right clients, cultivating business from the customer and handling the customers/clients requirement, identifying the right suppliers and organizing and coordinating the products from suppliers, assessing the quality of products and finalizing the negotiations for the clients, coordinating the shipping processes.
  • Create and increase the companys customer base through various marketing and promotional channels.
  • Independently organize and attend relevant exhibitions & Fairs. Design and Plan the participation to represent the employer or its clients.
  • Ensure that sales team has adequate samples and promotional material, and present trade products with knowledge and enthusiasm to take business upwards.
  • Take ownership of Exports annual sales goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategy as needed to get sales on track/target.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the products identified by the clients for purchasing, matching their needs with the supplier database.
  • Coordinating extensive international travel arrangements if needed by the customer/client.
  • Awareness of customs duties, declaration process of products (HS Codes).
  • Supervise and inspect the quality standards as per clients specifications of product at supplier/manufacturing end.
  • Ensure profitable selling terms by generating recommended margins and discount percentages for special trade sales.
  • Create customized and up to date lists of trade product according to customer or sales representative requests.
SkillsManager International Trade must have strong leadership and influencing skills as well as ability to assist in strategy development,gather and analyze data to complete independent assignments with acumen to handle negotiations, and deal with the demands of clients. They must be familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments, as well asfigures, since theyll have to convert weights, volumes, and currencies for international shipments. S/he should have Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, scheduling) Ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the organizing and completion of assignments, should have exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills along with tact and good judgment in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management In addition to skills above we are looking for an individual with a attributes and personality such as:
