Join EY to create an exceptional experience for yourself and contribute to building a better working world for all.**Role Overview:**As a Senior Fund Accounting Business Analyst at EY, your responsibilities will include:- Facilitating necessary conversations between the Business and Technology to define product features.- Working independently with minimal supervision.- Providing technical guidance to the team and clients when required.- Working under a deadline-oriented role that may involve operating under US time schedules.- Engaging in project management tasks as necessary.- Mentoring, training, and motivating staff to achieve project objectives.- Proactively developing and conducting training for team members on new initiatives.- Collaborating with Technology and the US team to identify process improvement areas and promote automation culture.**Key Responsibilities:**- 5 years of experience in the WAM industry.- Experience in US-based asset management fund accounting and fund administration.- A Masters degree in accounting or finance is mandatory, while an MBA or CA would be beneficial.- General understanding of US GAAP, mutual funds, private equity funds, and regulatory requirements.- Versatility and proficiency in working with Technology platforms, frameworks, and tools.- Familiarity with accounting tools/frameworks such as Investran and eFront is advantageous.- Good knowledge of WAM domain and deep understanding of capital market OTC derivative products.- Thorough understanding of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow schedules.- Experience in requirements documentation and all project life cycle stages.- Understanding of product taxonomies like positions, holdings, and transactions.- Familiarity with documenting functional, non-functional, and data requirements.- Exposure to SQL, Python, or R tool-based analytics is a plus.- Highly motivated individual capable of handling operational complexity.- Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent analytical skills, and effective communication with stakeholders.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines.At EY, the focus is on building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society, and fostering trust in capital markets.
