Job Description

Role & Responsibilities: Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a particular assigned region. The role is based out at Delhi; however travelling would be required throughout the assigned region (For example if West region is assigned, travelling will be required to Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad) .Business Development1.The Role will have focus working with Biopharma companies to sell products and to generate new business to achieve assign targets2.Initiate cold calls to prospects within the assigned region3.Initiate customers retention measures by building on customer relations4.Collect references from existing customers and create a customer pool for new business development5.Responsible for timely catering to customer queries6.Responsible for training, grooming and supporting the sales team to generate new business / new accounts7.Responsible for Support marketing programs and programs in other territories as assigned by the Company and assume a leadership role in doing soDistribution Management1.Liaising with distribution and channel partners in fulfilling customer orders2.Responsible for raising Purchase Orders and Indent3.Responsible for various activities related to control and monitor of the orders, dispatches to the end userReporting1.Updating information regarding customer visits2.Updating competitors informationCreation of new database and process documentationsPrerequisites for the position:1.Exposure of Sales and Marketing in the field of Life sciences reagent, Diagnostic and instrumentations2.People management, must have experience of handling sales team of 7 to 8 people3.Capable of generating new business (Business development) and should be a customer relation expert4.Expertise in Distributor management5.Good knowledge and contacts with core account (Pharma and major research institutes),
