Act as a Security Operations Engineer in a DevOps team collaborating with the Security Operations Centre, Security Operations Governance teams and global business unit stakeholders on the design, deployment and management of core security tooling focusing on risk reduction Develop and execute delivery plans in collaboration with wider Cyber Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to implement security tools and capabilities Work with the Technology development and network teams to implement appropriate security solutions and tools based on the level of risk identified Establish clear understanding and documentation of processes related to cyber security tooling Leverage security automation tooling and develop playbooks and workflows based on operational use cases Support the integration and implementation of security controls for global Information Technology platforms, capabilities and applications to ensure adherence to critical business objectives, regulatory requirements and cyber security policies Ensure the deployment of security tools is achieved with the minimum of impact to business Establish clear maintenance and support procedures for endpoint security capabilities Maintain detailed knowledge of emerging threats, risks, technical innovations and security capabilitiesShow More We are looking forStrong written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel Able to present technical security information to a non-technical audience A well organised, motivated and self-starting individual Experience working in a Security Engineering or Operations capacity within a DevOps team in an enterprise organisation Detailed understanding of vulnerability management within IT hardware and software operating system layers to include hardening, patching, anti-virus, APT, DDOS Knowledge of securing operational technology and industrial control systems Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and/or ISO 27001 security frameworks. Ability to generate high quality accessible solution documentation Ability to understand powershell/python scripting and API concepts. Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, LANs, DNS, VLANs, routing/switching, WANs) Experience with managing firewalls and IDS/IPS Knowledge of HTTPS/SSL Inspection Experience with firewall management tools Experience with managing DDOS solutions Experience with managing and configuring Akamai security services Knowledge of the transportation/shipping industry Knowledge of ITIL service methodology Experience in working with cloud-based security solutions Experience of working in an Agile environment Certifications such as CompTIA+, CEH, CISSP, CISMShow More,
