Job Description

    As a Demand Fulfillment Planner - Central at Castrol India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring competitive customer service levels for the Central region while balancing demand-aligned inventory investment with market expectations and commercial strategies. Your responsibilities will include:- Representing the region in the S&OP process to provide supply chain expertise and drive aligned decisions on demand and supply- Collaborating closely with Central demand planning and distribution teams to ensure optimal stocking levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders- Enabling the achievement of service and inventory targets by driving improvements in forecast quality and related performance measures- Overseeing end-to-end order management and execution for the region, including daily invoicing, load planning, and coordination with logistics- Serving as the regional Supply Chain Single Point of Accountability (SPA) to manage all customer-facing interactions related to service performance- Owning regional IFOT performance and ensuring continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordinationQualifications Required:- Graduate in any discipline- Management degree in Supply Chain will be an added advantageExperience:- 5 years of experience in distribution/supply chain management- Experience in communicating and interfacing with all levels of the company and outside contacts- Knowledge of transportation/warehousing operations- Demonstrated partnership and teamwork skills- Performance bias - Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver exceptional resultsAdditional Details:- This role may require up to 10% travel- Relocation assistance is available within the country- This position is not available for remote workingKey Skills:Agility core practices, Agility tools, Business Acumen, Commercial Acumen, Digital Fluency, Inventory Management, Logistics Management, Negotiating, Negotiation planning and preparation, Project Management, Risk Management, Strategic Thinking, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply chain management, Sustainability awareness and action, Value creation and managementLegal Disclaimer:Castrol India is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
