Deputy Programme Manager for Clean Air Programme at Centre for Science and Environment Deputy Programme Manager for Clean Air Programme at Centre for Science and Environment Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) , a New Delhi based non - profit institution, is currently seeking Deputy Programme Manager (DPM) for its Clean Air Programme (APC) Programme to do high - quality policy and technical research, interact with policymakers, regulators and other target groups. CSE is one of Indias leading public interest research institutes. It is known for its rigorous research and advocacy on environmental and sustainable development issues. If you have an eye for recognizing relevant information fast, enthusiastic about tracking latest developments, believe in making impact, and most importantly have strong interest to work towards cleaning up air in cities then you are the candidate we are looking for. Work Profile: Develop networks and continue the campaign for clean air across Indian cities. Conduct various studies relating to air quality and assessment of different sectors contributing to air pollution. Organize stakeholder consultations and meetings in cities. Conduct assessment of policy issues and prepare policy papers and briefs pertaining to emerging issues related to air pollution. Write high quality research reports. Contribute to CSE s Down to Earth magazine through articles and blogs pertaining to CSE s work on Clean Air. Requirements: Postgraduates with expertise in sciences, economics or engineering with experience and keen interest in environmental issues. Experience and interest in conducting research on air pollution control, air quality and public health protection issues. Knowledge and experience of various aspects of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Good writing skills, with the ability to convey technical and policy - related issues analytically with clarity (candidates should cite their published articles and paper in CV/ application) . Software proficiency - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other advanced software. Language proficiency - English and Hindi. Additional knowledge of regional languages will be appreciated. Ability to fluently converse is critical. Willingness to travel. Good networking skills. Experience (5 - 6 years) in non - profit / consulting / academia / public sector / private sector. Candidates with lesser experience (3 - 5) will be considered for the positions of Programme Officer / Sr. Research Associate.,
