Job Description

  • Person need to have at least five years of knowledge and experience in preparing the 2D & 3D Drawings, Hydraulic Calculation, Hydro Zoning, BOQs, Fabrication Drawings, Isometric Drawings, Preparing the Piping Layout, GFC Drawings.
  • Person need to have knowledge of different Water Sources, Plant Materials, Water requirement of different Plant Materials, ET of different locations, all the irrigation site issues for different applications and different verticals, etc.
  • Person need to capture sufficient inputs through questionnaire, interviews or site visits before beginning the irrigation design.
  • Person need to honor timelines in terms of delivering the irrigation design with all the supporting documents.
  • Person need to maintain complete confidentiality in terms of sharing any information to anyone outside of our organization.
  • Person is required to update oneself with all the latest technologies of Rain Bird, competition and irrigation industry time to time through self-learning and the training opportunities which are provided.
  • Person need to use only legal Auto Cad software to create 2D and or 3D Irrigation design.
  • Person need to do all irrigation designs as per Irrigation Association of USA Design Standards considering 100% coverage, Water Conservation and Optimum Cost.
  • Person need to provide all irrigation designs with Hydraulic Calculations, BOQ, Assumptions considered, Disclaimer and necessary Write-up.
  • Person need to provide Weekly MIS on the irrigation designs submitted.
In addition, the person should have following capabilities:
  • Person need to professionally deliver presentations on Rain Bird products, Concepts, Customized Irrigation Solutions, etc. and maintain up to date marketing materials to deliver the same.
  • Person need to be able to establish, develop and maintain business relationships with Key Accounts and Landscape Architects.
  • Person need to provide Weekly MIS on calls made and presentations done to Key Accounts and Landscape Architects.
  • Person need to be able to execute Special Projects on various subjects of automated irrigation. Person should be resourceful, knowledgeable enough to source, collate, rearrange and develop desired outputs to the best international standards.
