Job Description

  • Hands-on leader who will develop and manage the product content marketing strategy, including the go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute long term vision
  • Create the vision and evangelize product positioning and messaging that differentiates our suite of products to different customers
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing leadership to define and execute strategies to increase adoption of our SaaS (cloud) product portfolio
  • Own company brand and drive awareness through online, social media and product investments
  • Coach, lead and manage a group of product marketers
  • Build and validate value propositions, messaging, and guidance for the field, partners, press, and analysts
  • Market intelligence: Be the expert on our customers, understand their requirements before they do and get those requirements into the product; be the expert on our competition and how to crush them
  • Product launch: Plan and communicate the launch of new releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Product Advocacy: Model and manage the consistency of the product brand attributes and promise across multiple campaigns across multi fiscal years
  • Drive field and partner readiness to ensure roadmap, value proposition, positioning & messaging is effectively communicated
  • Support sales through demos, articulating product value and support deal closure
  • Oversee event strategy including the companys overall presence, speaking, exhibiting opportunities, content and messaging
  • Analyst and press relations: Briefing industry analysts, delivering interviews, presentations and engagement with media outlets for placement coverage
  • Manage community engagement through industry standard outlets and media
  • Business planning and execution through SKU planning, pricing, channel, packaging and distribution
  • Content strategy and delivery of core content: Presentations, demos, videos, white papers, case studies, blog posts and contribute to broader communications needs
  • Support content for website and branding into our online presence
  • Drive social media with content and relevant industry news. Grow ecosystem relationships
Requirement
  • Bachelors degree in technology area, engineering, business or marketing, Master degree is beneficial
  • 5+ years as a product marketer
  • 3+ years leading product marketing
  • Strong product background
  • Ability to operate tactically and think strategically in a dynamic, fast-paced SaaS company growing 969%
  • Ability to truly understand and effectively communicate the why behind products
  • Experience in SaaS product marketing
  • EdTech, Network Security or similar vertical experience is beneficial
  • Experience defining/re-defining effective marketing/branding/messaging for a suite of software/technology products company internally an externally
