Job Description

Description For this Embedded Systems developer role, we are looking for a self starter with strong embedded hardware and software knowledge. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop RF (Zigbee) prototypes integrated with sensors.
  • Identify chipsets, define and develop end-to-end solutions using manufacturer s reference design/evaluation kits.
  • Provide creative ideas and solutions by modifying reference designs to build ultra low power microcontrollers based RF solutions.
  • Program zigbee transceivers to communicate data to a WEB Server.
  • Deliver Spice or Eagle designs. Support prototype PCB builds, Develop enclosures designs.
  • Develop test cases and ensure testing of prototype devices to validate design intent.
The role will require 3+ years of experience. Strong understanding of 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers and applications with hardware and software content. Specific experience with popular microcontroller architectures and embedded software development is needed. Experience with digital electronics and good understanding of peripheral interfaces and communication protocols such as Internet connectivity, USB, 802.15.4/ZigBee etc. and software architecture, board level analog and digital integrated circuit designs and designing precision analog circuits and testing techniques are needed. Strong system level understanding and experience with low power optimized microcontroller end applications such as Sensor interfacing, Power electronics, connectivity to the internet, etc will be required to execute on assignments from concept to deliverable.
