Your role will involve working in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols.- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.- Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.- Handle cashiering responsibilities including processing payments accurately and managing cash transactions.- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.- Buss tables, clear dishes, and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness to create a welcoming environment.- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through effective communication.- Efficiently manage time to serve customers promptly during busy periods.- Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.**Qualifications Required:**- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments.- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy.- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.- Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a caf or grocery store setting.This role offers an engaging work environment where you can leverage your skills in food industry operations, customer service, and sales.
