Job Description

    As a Vice President of the Innovation Economy Team at J.P. Morgan, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with public and private companies in industries such as Disruptive Commerce, Technology, Fintech, Life Sciences, Healthcare IT, and ClimateTech. You will work towards making J.P. Morgan the leading bank for venture-capital backed companies with high-growth potential. Your role will involve providing traditional corporate banking products and partnering across the firm to deliver a wider suite of services and products. Your main focus will be on business development and market leadership under the guidance of the India head for Innovation Economy.**Key Responsibilities:**- Identify, pursue, and execute opportunities for prospect clients across various financial products and services.- Manage complex client relationships independently as the primary relationship manager.- Oversee onboarding, implementation, and service efforts with multiple internal business partners.- Assist in preparing and reviewing marketing materials for client meetings covering topics such as financing, working capital optimization, and industry analysis.- Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests.- Maintain strategic dialogue with existing clients, advisors, and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services, and credit opportunities.- Strictly comply with all regulatory and JP Morgan Compliance rules, policies, and procedures.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a client/relationship manager.- Strong knowledge of the local market and proven client relationship skills.- Ability to engage with Founder/CEO/CFO level contacts and possess corporate finance, credit, and transaction execution skills.- Strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development.- Solid credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills.- Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, and other banking products with execution experience.- Self-motivated, dependable, and intellectually curious.- A top performer with a strong track record.In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills would be preferred:- Knowledge and existing networks in the local technology and venture capital sectors.- Experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking.
