Job Description

    Job Description of Head - Business Development:
    • Understand company profile and operations to understand its product and sales needs
    • Preparing a goal-based timeline acquisition and partnership plan
    • Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the CEO and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
    • Lead the sales team for execution of acquisition plan by setting weekly targets and tracking sales
    • Lead the 2nd level of conversation with institutes after lead stage conversion by on-field sales manager.
    • Reach out to the top ed-techs for sale of product to online retailers
    • Conduct research to identify commercial opportunities
    • Tracking of the goals on a weekly basis and piloting based on market requirements
    • Deriving costs and bonus structures to be used for acquisition and retention of sales team
    • Enhancement of on-field sales objectives
    • Presentation of sales initiatives taken and objectives attained on a weekly basis to the CEO
    • Steps for enhancement of branding, positioning, communications, and other sales issues
    • Liaise with on-field vendors
    • Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing and Strategy
