Philips has strong Brand Equity and recognized amongst most Innovative Companies globally growing better than industry and gaining market shares across categories.Title: Head of Business Transformation ISCJob location: GurgaonReports to: Head of BT, International MarketsJob SummaryThe Business Transformation Manager leads the transformational initiatives in their respective BG / Market/ Function in alignment with Group BT and drives the overall BT portfolio and the enables the organization to drive structural performance improvements. Shares responsibility and accountability towards achievement of financial commitments and KPIs. Drives towards successful execution of the business transformation roadmap to deliver upon strategic business priorities in the BG/M/F as set out in the Strategic Planning process (incl. Hoshin Planning). Together with the Leadership Team will be responsible to drive a culture of Performance Management across the organization .In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Plays a critical role in defining the Business Transformation strategy of the BG/Market/Function including selection of targets and priority setting between programs when needed
  • Manages portfolio of E2E Transformations and PBS/E2E deployment projects and is capable of having an overview of all transformations being deployed into B/M/F.
  • Establishes a culture of Continuous Improvement by applying the Philips Excellence tools (Daily Management, Problem Solving, Kaizens, etc.) and ensures that business transformation is sustainable.
  • Enables and coaches the performance improvements of the top priority business targets as determined by the BG, Market or Function Leadership Team.
  • Builds and manages a pipeline of highly performing talents for BT function/ Market/ BG.
  • Drives the BT portfolio and supports the strategic direction of the B/M/F.
  • Defines methodology and implements the LEAN improvement initiatives
  • Engages with the MT in assessing key business metrics
  • Coaches MT in the practical application of the LEAN tools to drive significant business impact
  • Drives business impact through continuous improvement
  • Drive adoption of Philips Excellence Practices across End2End Value Chain.
  • Deliver impactful results tied to B/M/F priorities through application of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, with sustainable behavioral change to ensure long term competitive advantage
  • Able to drive operational excellence
  • Constantly challenge the status quo, creating a transformational vision for meaningful long-term success
  • Plays a pivotal role in driving P&L and change management
  • Works with the CI Leaders to drive workshops / training programmes
  • Cross BG / Cross Markets / Cross Functions problem solving
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new and special assignment
  • Designs new frameworks of knowledge or updates existing ones

  • Drives BMC performance according to (non) financial targets of the leadership team

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Bachelor s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Overall 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 8-10 years in Continuous Improvement roles
  • Proven track-record in coaching and managing high performance and management teams through transformation
  • Multi Industry and multifunction CI experience preferred
  • Experience in multilocation LEAN deployments preferred
  • Gravitas and earned authority to deal with and manage senior stakeholders to challenge the status quo
  • Consulting skills, ability to operate in a highly matrixed structure
  • Solid experience in continuous improvement (ideally including daily management and problem solving)
  • Team management
  • Cross cultural / Cross business / Cross markets influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen
