Internship programme in Business Relationship
Internship programme in Business Relationship focuses on the subscription side of the magazine. Business Relationship Interns assist primarily in managing the subscription campaign at The Caravan . Duties will include tasks such as:
Creating a database of schools, universities and institutions of humanities and liberal arts from around the world
Locating contacts within such institutions and connecting with them regarding The Caravan s institutional subscription offers
Preparing presentations to explain the rich and diversified archival content of The Caravan, as well as options catering to specific requirements of potential subscribers
Coming up with new ideas to reach out to potential subscribers
Conducting periodical surveys to understand subscriber feedback
Working closely with various subscription and syndication initiatives
Please note that this is not an editorial position, and traditional editorial tasks will be a minimal part of the experience. We prefer candidates interested in media management, advertising, business development, strategising, sales and marketing.
The internship is full - time from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday. Interns will be paid a stipend. The Caravan requires a six - month commitment from business relationship interns.
