Job Description

As a part of the Fund Services Technology Management Team at Standard Chartered Bank, your role will involve strong Business Analysis expertise and Agile way of working, along with excellent stakeholder management capabilities. You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders across the organization to set expectations and drive partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include:- Executing the Technology strategy and roadmap for Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Compliance Monitoring, and data transformation applications.- Driving standardization of operational processes aligning with strategic Technology principles and SCB standards.- Developing best practices in software development and building a culture within the developer/tester community.- Engaging with Product and Operations stakeholders to build trust and confidence through open and transparent communications.- Managing the Scrum team with a focus on end-to-end delivery and quality, adhering to committed timelines and removing impediments.- Ensuring adherence to SCB processes of release and Change Management, architecture, and Technology standards.- Mentoring, developing, coaching, and guiding team members through exemplary behavior and support interventions.In terms of qualifications, you are required to have a degree in Business/Accounting/Banking or equivalent. Certification in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, and Process modeling would be beneficial. Additionally, certification in Agile Scrum Master, Product owner, and Project Management would be advantageous.For the Skills and Experience required, you should possess a minimum of 6 to 10 years of development experience with technologies like Java EE and Object-oriented languages such as Java. Familiarity with tools/frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Apache projects, Maven, Eclipse, etc., is necessary.
