Laboratory Manager Job Responsibilities and Duties:Manage BSL2 and BSL3 virus laboratoriesAssist with and supervise various research projectsAssist others with and perform lab techniquesManage reporting, monitoring, resources, and laboratory personnelWork closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectivesFacilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting dataEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, budgets, and schedulesEstablish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risksUtilize proven employee management solutions to improve productivity and efficiencyEnsure the lab establishes and maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality resultsEnsure that environmental requirements are met at the federal, state, and local government levels
