Basic Information on the roleRole TitleLarge Corporates ManagerCorporate Broking and DirectDepartmentCorporate, Broking and DirectFunctionLarge CorporatesVerticalLarge CorporateLocationReporting Manager RoleHead - Corporate Broking andDirectPurpose of the JobBroad objectiveof the roleBuild and nurture a niche customer segment (large corporates) through intermediariesand banking relationships to drive profitable business growthKey Responsibilities- Meet, engage and develop the client base on regular basis to increase market penetration- Interact with customers to ensure high conversion of renewals- Identify areas of cross selling to existing customers to increase overall customer and product mix pen etration- Provide customers value addition via presenting opportunities (like having a complimentary risk inspection done, review of their present coverages, inputs on their claims issues) to ensure customer delight- Draw up a calendar of the clients renewals throughout the year to plan periodic timely engagements- Meet on regular basis to understand their client base and accounts list for the coming months to add moreaccounts- Arrive at broad understanding on business placement and review the same every month to analyze and improvement as required- Follow up with internal teams to ensure their brokerages etc. are released on time- Conduct regular visits to update and seek support for business pending or falling due- Review and update on business done through their clients to date to identify gaps and take corrective action jointly- Interact to resolve coinsurance matters, discuss and obtain relevant documentation pertaining to premium booked to help book share of premium- Interact with the operations team to ensure all sourced business is booked- Monitor the business booked, track growth and take necessary steps with various departments to take corrective action. e.g. timely issuance of quotes by underwriting team and facilitating speedy settlement by claims team- Conduct structured meetings with underwriting, operations and claims teams to review, facilitate and address issues affecting the business- Create and review monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders to ensure information sharing needed for compliance purposes- Assess and consider all kinds of risk to make informed decisions

Education QualificationsBasic Graduation with additional general insurance qualifications (AIII)Core experience9-10 years of industry experience with at least 5-6 years experience in handling highvalue clientsExcellent soft skills combined with flair for presentationPreferableKnowledge/Experience Well versed in the technical aspects of products being pitchedManagement education with marketing background
