Manager - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Job Description

As the PLM Lead for Enovia program implementation for global isolation business, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to drive the development, implementation, integration, training, and support for enterprise-wide PLM users. Your role will involve collaborating with product experts and business leaders, prioritizing projects, providing technical leadership, and managing a team of 6 individuals. Your key responsibilities will include:- Prioritizing PLM related projects based on business strategy and collaborating with Tech CoE Engineering Director to resource them suitably.- Developing functional requirements for PLM in collaboration with SBU & WA Engineering teams and detailing them in standard Emerson formats.- Providing technical leadership for overall PLM system development, issue resolution, and pro-active approach towards improvements by working closely with end users.- Driving Engineering execution excellence through detailed approach, data-driven decisions, project metrics, continuous improvement, and innovation.- Attracting, developing, and retaining top talents by crafting a suitable organization structure and promoting a performance culture.To excel in this role, you will need:- Bachelors Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.- Strong technical skills in PLM.- Outstanding engineering process skills involving NPD, ETO & ECM.- Strong people leadership skills in hiring, development, performance & retention.- Project management skills involving scoping, prioritizing, estimation, resourcing, scheduling, and risk management.- Experience in PLM with any major tools.- Behavioral competencies including Technical Savvy, Ensures Accountability, Optimizes Work Processes, Develops Talent, Communicates Effectively.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:- Experience with Enovia is preferred.- Willingness to travel globally as required.Joining Emerson will provide you with the opportunity to make a difference through your work.
