Area of Operation: Scope of work / KRAs: Supply Chain Management: Handling the overall responsibility of supply chain management viz. Sourcing of PM (Major) & RM (Minor) , Inventory Management & Control and coordination of the entire chain including coordinating with Planning Team , stores for material dispatch to various locations to meet Production requirements. Purchase / Procurement: Responsible for the procurement of the Raw and Packing material. Prepare the Purchase Orders and formulate and implement cost reduction initiatives. Vendor Development: Involved in developing vendors and negotiating best possible purchase terms. Inventory control And Management: Responsible for inventory Management for RM / PM / Engineering Items , ensuring it is within the maximum allowed limit while meeting production requirements. Filling the bottlenecks in the production & ensure zero percent production loss. Preventing obsolesce of material by following FIFO / FEFO. Ensuring proper accounting of stock against books Stock Reconciliation (weekly , monthly & yearly basis). Ensuring proper receipt and issuance of materials Transfer of RM / PM to our Plants / Co packers Skills Expectations: Expertise in procurement of Raw & Packing materials , Engineering spares , Capital goods and marketing purchase , by zero percent stock out. Skilled in Vendor Development , Inventory Control and Management , material dispatch , purchase of spare parts , ensuring statutory compliance and budgetary control. Expertise in streamlining and implementing control and procedures for optimal sourcing. Good communication and negotiation skills Computer Skills middle level in Microsoft Excel , PowerPointand ERP applications for business needs.
