As a member of the team at Rockwell Automation, a global technology leader, you will collaborate with your colleagues to execute and deliver engineering tasks across multiple automation projects in diverse industry sectors for global clients. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule expectations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will oversee on-site activities to effectively meet customer requirements.Your key responsibilities will include:- Traveling frequently to project sites to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.- Ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective execution of assigned projects, maintaining strong customer satisfaction.- Providing process domain expertise and solutions aligned with industry standards.- Collaborating with regional Project Managers to deliver engineering services effectively.- Leading, supervising, and monitoring all phases of project execution to ensure successful implementation.- Managing and reporting on multiple project deliveries, ensuring adherence to processes, budgets, schedules, and quality standards, while identifying opportunities for value addition.- Mentoring and supporting the development of fellow project engineers.- Assisting Project Managers in scope management, including the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).- Participating in resolving engineering execution escalations and working with the GEBS Engagement Manager and regional stakeholders to ensure proper closure and conduct lessons learned sessions.- Supporting regional teams in pursuing large-scale project opportunities.- Escalating issues promptly to appropriate stakeholders to support overall project success.- Continuously enhancing personal engineering skills and sharing best practices to strengthen team capabilities.- Providing technical support to the Team Leader / Lead Engineer.- Collaborating closely with the Team Leader / Lead Engineer to ensure customer acceptance of project deliverables.- Maximizing the use of standard products and reusable engineering components in project delivery.- Assisting the Team Leader in managing technical risks and resolving technical challenges.- Driving cost reduction through process improvements, manufacturing efficiencies, and the development of reusable or standardized engineering solutions.- Demonstrating technical and application expertise to secure repeat business and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.- 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, specifically in PLC and drive system applications, including engineering design and implementation.- Proven experience across the entire project lifecycle, from the design phase through to commissioning.- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsboth written and verbalare essential for effective collaboration and project execution.(Note: Omitting additional company details as it is not directly related to the job description) As a member of the team at Rockwell Automation, a global technology leader, you will collaborate with your colleagues to execute and deliver engineering tasks across multiple automation projects in diverse industry sectors for global clients.
