Job Description

    Project Manager - ServiceNow
    • Facilitate release planning or program increment planning, daily stand-up meetings, and all meetings associated with agile ceremonies as a part of project delivery, including identifying continuous improvement opportunities and steering them to completion through facilitation of retrospectives
    • Work in partnership with delivery leads to proactively manage key deliverables for all technical work streams in addition to managing post production support planning and activities
    • Identify deliverables within workstream tracks and reconcile key dates to the overall program project plan
    • Review backlogs and planned work schedules to provide guidance on priority tasks for the plan
    • Oversee and manage multiple deliverables to align sequencing of integration testing and track key activities to support pre and post testing cycles and post launch hypercare
    • Maintain and track the delivery actions, risks, issues and decisions in the program RAID log and ensure all are kept up to date and accurate by working with subject matter experts and assigned owners to close them out
    • Raise potential issues or blockers with technical leads and provide mitigation options and needs to resolve
    • Ensure all deliverables and commitments meet quality standards and expectations
    • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Red Hat or customer specific
    What you will bring
    • 4+ years of relevant project management experience and relevant working experience using the agile methodology
    • Previous Scrum Master experience
    • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
    • Experience delivering multiple projects concurrently for ServiceNow capabilities
    • Excellent understanding of product life cycle, including software development methodologies, design, and implementation
    • Knowledge of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other agile development techniques
    • Experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
    • Expertise in creating project plans, schedules, and resourcing plans with project management tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
    • Motivated, able to work on your own, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
    • Adept at adopting new technologies for day to day work activities
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder, and relationship management skills
    • Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data to identify potential risks and draw meaningful conclusions
    • Comfortable working in rapidly changing environments
    • Certifications like SAFe, Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3, and v4 are a plus
