Job Description

    Job Title:General Manager -CateringDepartment:Operations & SalesReports To:Director /Senior ManagementWe are looking for an experienced professional with a demonstrated history in the food and beverage industry with an experience of 10+ years. Skilled with perfection in different verticals of F&B wherein he must have successfully managed and executed Catering & Events, Sales management, People management, ISO Standards, Marketing Strategy, Inventory control, Budgeting, EBITDA, Cost management.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Responsible for F & B Operations, Kitchen Operations, New Product Launch, Menu Designing, Inventory Planning and Management, Quality Control, Client Services and Team Management.
    • Achieving the profitability targets by strengthening client relations and expansion of business opportunities through collaborative ventures.
    • Responsible for establishing KRAs and communicating to the teams
    • Planning and implementing SOPs, ,monitoring food quality and the staffing requirement, budgeting and cost control activities,
    • Planning, driving and executing all the operations with respect to every ceremony
    • Capable of managing the entire Operations within the agreed budget and ensuring adherence with all the Company policies and Procedures related with Finance, HR, Admin and Operations.
    • Communicate with marketing team/agency to create strong brand visibility required in executing the function.
    • Vendor management - Searching/negotiating/finalizing and liasoning with all vendors across different categories
    • Analyzing inventory and sales figure of every function.
    • Co-ordinating with kitchen team to control wastage and pilferage.
    • Preparation of Food cost should be done along with the chef once the menu is finalized.
    • Making and Implementing FP/Policies/ SOPs & formats for better execution
    • Develop Training manuals /checklist/Format before any function.
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of food should be maintained at all times
    • Maintain optimal level of sanitary procedures for all food handling and maintain neat and clean kitchen area and ensure optimal quality of all food preparation and ensure compliance to all standards.
    • Produce clear and accurate Event Catering Schedules within set deadlines.
    • Adopt a clear and strategic approach to catering sales by selling a catering offer that drives up spend per head, while keeping operational costs to a minimum.
    • Organize and attend client meetings both internally and externally.
    • This job description is not exhaustive and the role necessitates flexibility to take on other responsibilities which are at the discretion of the Sales Director.
