The development of wireless communications equipment or any other product opportunities identifiedRadio component evaluation and optimizationPerform Radio Design Verification Testing (DVT) and system optimizationRework hardware from schematic diagrams, change notes and other authorised documentsParticipate with the creation of engineering change request documentBoard level fault finding and debugTravel to external testing facilities when required to perform necessary testingProvide support to design engineers when requiredDocumentation and support of designs within a project environmentFlexible working attitude and ability to work independently and take the initiativeSome travel may be requiredEducation, Experience and Skills:Three or more years experience in R&D laboratory environmentBachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar disciplineExperience in LNA, PA, Mixer, filter and Synthesizer testing and optimizationExperience with RF test equipment and test proceduresExperience of RF board assembly and rework to a high standardExperience in debugging combined hardware and software products to component level within a multi-disciplinary team environmentGood working knowledge of radio communication productsExperience developing module requirements from industry standards or specificationsAbility to multi-task, work independently and coordinate resources to achieve desired goalsExperience with product testing and certification / qualification to industry standardsHigh Power Amplifier testing and evaluation experienceHas developed solid departmental procedures and functionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience in a start-up or high growth fast-paced environment is essentialHas demonstrated qualities such as innovation, teamwork, commitment to qualityPossesses a flexible work attitude and ability to work independently and take initiative,
