Job Description

The ideal candidate will ensure in planning and execution of In vitro ADME studies while leading a Team of 1-2 scientists and bring change in the LabKey Responsibilities:

Designing and execution of In vitro cell based permeability (Caco-2, MDR1-MDCK-II, LLC-PK1-MDR1) and non-cell based (PAMPA) assays to support drug discovery services.
Development of new cell based assays to support permeability studies.
Designing and execution of CYP induction -enzymatic activity and mRNA expression in primary hepatocytes.
Designing and execution of mechanistic In vitro ADME assays to assess in vitro intrinsic permeability.
Identify new In vitro cell based permeability methods and implement new methods to support the drug discovery programs.
Interaction and presenting the study findings in cross functional team meetings.
Preparation of SOP s and EOPs
Reporting of the executed studies with high level of data integrity.
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification: M.Pharma in Life sciences or related field.Technical/functional Skills:

Comprehensive understanding of in vitro ADME assays and technical expertise in trouble shooting the assays.
Several years of experience in conducting In vitro cell based and non-cell based permeability assays.
Experience in conducting permeability assays in 96 well format is required.
Experience with automation is desirable

Experience:9 12 Years of relevant experience post qualification.Behavioral Skills:Good oral, written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.,
