Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer at Milliman, you will be primarily responsible for implementing technical design requirements into applications and services managed and supported by EB Admin Technology. Your role will also involve ongoing support for production defects.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement web front-end screens and functionality using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Javascript, and Responsive Design- Mentor and support software developers in India to ensure adherence to Millimans coding standards- Design and implement general and specialized calculation libraries and automated distribution packages for multiple clients- Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications and services, including ASP.Net apps, windows services, and WCF Web Services- Maintain proper documentation of libraries and object structure through the use of Team Foundation Services and appropriate in-code comments- Provide software development support for the successful completion of EB Admin Tech strategic initiatives- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in programming methodologyQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development- Proficiency in modern UI technologies in a Microsoft stack, SQL Server database management systems, XML, Visual Studio, and Azure Dev-ops- Experience working in multi-tiered web-based applications and services in an agile SDLC environment- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individuallyPlease note:- Microsoft Blazor experience would be preferred- Ready to work in a Hybrid work from office model- Expected to provide alternative solutions to development issues based on previous career experience- High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data Role Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer at Milliman, you will be primarily responsible for implementing technical design requirements into applications and services managed and supported by EB Admin Technology.
