Software Performance Analyst

Job Description

• Evaluating system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and develop appropriate resolutions.
• Define, develop and conduct system performance and stress testing.
• Analyze test results and suggest action plans.
• Create and execute performance test plans, test cases and scripts
• Report performance test results to Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Development, and Product Management
• Develop performance test automation and tooling
• Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
• Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
• Collaborate with Business/development teams to improve system performance
• Be responsible for analyzing and tracking the performance engineering activities against the defined performance testing metrics on an ongoing basis
• Be responsible for analysis and tracking against the defined performance benchmarks.
• Design, implement and drive performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools, and custom solutions / script
Required Technical and Professional Expertise 6-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrable use of one or more of the following tools: Load Runner, JMeter, Rational Performance Tester, Gatling, NeoLoad (or another equivalent tool), with additional experience including:
• Ability to analyze performance of APIs and UIs.
• Experience in Test Automation tools (Selenium, BDD,Robot Framework).
• Experience working with APM tools such HP Diagnostics, Dynatrace, App dynamics etc
• Experience in the areas of identifying performance test scenarios, defining test strategies,execution, reporting identifying risks.
• Experience in preparing performance test planning, estimations, prioritization, and documentation.
• Experience working with Kubernetes/Docker or related cloud-native technologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD processes, DevOps methodologies and tools such as git, Jenkins, Travis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote office locations
• Growth-mindset: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Reliable experience as a functional tester(manual/automation).
• Performance engineering experience when moving/migrating to cloud.
• 3-4 years of Experience in Test Automation tools (Eg Selenium,ROBOT Framework).
• 1-2 years of Experience with API Test Automation (Eg SOAP UI).
• Understanding the chaos platform and simulate the application behaviour
• Integrating the Chaos engineering in CI/CD process and find the breakage before the changes go live
