Job Details: Claro Agro purchases farm produces directly from the farmers and processes them into consumable food items. The company is developing the spices vertical which involves direct purchase from farmers, process it at farm level, maintain farm level identification of the product and sells it in the market. The product categories are under expansion and will involve more commodities over a period of time.This is a great opportunity to own the end-to-end supply chain process for an FMCG product. You will be responsible for moving material from the village to delivering the final product to the customer. We want you to be a part of our impact story.Responsibilities and DutiesPlan and implement the end-to-end supply chain management for Claros FMCG vertical, moving products from the farm to the warehouse, and delivering to the customer on timeFollow up with on-the-ground and processing plant teams to ensure receipt of orders and assure required delivery dates can be metProcuring raw materials from farmers by ordering the proper quantity and overseeing delivery terms and logisticsIdentify, negotiate with and manage logistics partnersVerify, count and process all incoming and outgoing orders, materials, and documentationQualifications and SkillsDoes this sound like you You are a graduate with 2+ years of experience working in supply chain management or a large-scale logistics companyYou have built a network of vendor and logistics partners with whom you have good relationshipsYou are viewed by your colleagues as a strong negotiator who always gets the best dealsYou have a strong track record of self-management and working independentlyYou have proficient English and Hindi verbal and written communication skillsYou have a passion for the development sector, fuelled by the idea of improving rural livelihoodsBenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and the opportunity to grow while efficiency of processes increase, leading to a wider reach across India
