Job Description

As a Team Lead in the Consumer Goods (Process) division at Rockwell Automation, your role involves evaluating and managing the team responsible for designing and implementing complex system requirements for customers. You will define vision, strategies, and tactics, while also selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function. Your responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, collecting operational data, and preparing customer application information. Additionally, you will provide both management and technical leadership, using project management tools to estimate projects and monitor their status. You will review completed proposals for technical integrity, risk quantification, and strategic direction before presenting them to customers.**Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver and execute assigned projects on time with good quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction- Provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders and industry teams- Continuously improve your engineering capabilities and exchange best practices with team members- Lead technical implementation throughout the project delivery life cycle- Collaborate with Technical Lead/SMEs to clarify technical issues and share workloads- Present solutions to stakeholders and coordinate development tasks with team members- Work with Project Manager for scope management and deliver execution plans effectively- Drive project cost reduction through continuous process improvement- Develop robust quality processes and ensure strict adherence- Guide the proposal team for timely support on estimation and proposal delivery- Ensure project implementation follows the procedure of SSB standard- Drive business growth and strengthen the footprint of GEC as a technology Center of Excellence- Optimize procurement processes and identify process improvement opportunities- Support AOP planning- Manage utilization of all resources and ensure accurate capacity planning**Job Related Competencies:**- Possess 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Engineer position- Exposure to applications in Home & Personal Care, F&B, Life Sciences, S88 Standards, Batch, and Process Applications- High level of expertise in RA products such as Control Logix, FTView SE/ME, ACM or GCM tool, GEMS, or Process Objects- Good understanding of advanced solutions like FT Batch, Line performance, LBSM, Sequence Manager, etc.- Experience with at least one third-party DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA systems each- Recognized as a subject matter expert in F&B Applications and lead the development of process improvements- Has very good interpersonal & networking skills- Effective Communication skills**Desired Temperament:**- Establish and maintain positive and respectful work relationships- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals- Leads with ethics and integrity; self-motivated and flexible- Help create and influence a culture that inspires individuals and teams- Maintain transparency in communication with all stakeholders- Understand and manage complexity at various levels in the organization**Educational Qualifications / Work Experience:**- BE/B Tech in Instrumentation & Control / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering is required- Overall 10-16 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years on Rockwell Automation platforms- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication & leadership skills- Experience in complete Project Life Cycle delivery- Experience in managing Global stakeholders and engaging with RA Clients remotely or at the siteAt Rockwell Automation, we offer a dynamic working environment, competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
