Designation:Technical Delivery ManagerJob Location: India. Based on client location (most likely following consultancy model that requires Mon- Thurs to be in client location). As a start, you will be working from home.Reporting To:CTO/ CEOVacancy:1Working Days:5Experience: 6- 8 years. Candidate should be willing to travel frequently at the client site.Work Profile: You will provide technical leadership for projects throughout the project delivery lifecycle. You will act as a technical interface between the client and the EACIIT team, working with both onsite and offsite teams. You would be responsible for the creation of technical documentation, ensuring proper resourcing and skills on the project, efficient code management, defining and following best practices for delivering best- in- class solutions to clients. This would be a client- facing role.Internal Relationships : Client team in charge, domain expert on the project, Project Manager, Development Team, Business Analyst/ sExternal Relationships : Clients Project Manager & IT team, any third- party vendors involved from client or EACIITResponsibilities: As Technical Delivery Manager you will perform all or some of the following responsibilities: Liaising client project for all technical issues covering legacy systems, infrastructure issues, data governance, data warehouses, code development, automation of test scripts, understanding user requirements, application architecture, deployment, bug testing, rolling out iterations, enhancements and change management. Driving customer satisfaction through an interface with delivery resources, direction and mentorship Co- ordination with the client team in charge, CEO/ CTO and team for all technical delivery activities, and acting as the escalation point for all technical development issues specific to projects Provide overall technical leadership and direct project team for the delivery of high- quality products within committed timeframes Ensure complete understanding of the development estimate and project scope Ensure strict adherence to technical documentation of the project required by client and for internal use Ensure strict adherence to efficient code management and tools used for project delivery Participate, as required, in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings and other such events Skills required Strong understanding of Core Infrastructure, Datacenter, Hosting, Security Concepts, Data Governance and related technologies is helpful. You have a background that supports your leadership in a technical and services organization. Skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Lead, or Project Management. The skills to include: Project Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design Have a high level of selling and customer/ partner service skills and have the ability to think strategically Strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time Have excellent communication, people management and technical delivery experience and also responsible for mentoring and developing technical talent inside EACIIT Excellent presentation skills and strong negotiation skills Expert problem- solving skills and ability to anticipate and build contingency plans Personal Qualities and Attributes Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocations procedures Pro- active in pre- empting issues and problems Consultative and highly communicative with the stakeholders Good team worker Education and Other Qualifications 6+ years of project delivery experience or management of large projects as a Technical Delivery Manager, preferably BI or open source technology projects delivered on agile basis Professional Qualifications (IT & Business) Excellent academic record throughout Project management certifications ,
