Job Description

    As an Employee Relations Specialist, your role is crucial in creating a harmonious, inclusive, and compliant work environment. You will be the primary contact for addressing employee concerns and grievances with professionalism, confidentiality, and fairness. Your responsibilities include:- Investigating employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations.- Serving as a neutral mediator for workplace disputes and conflicts.- Ensuring fair, timely, and confidential resolution of all grievances.- Maintaining accurate, legally compliant records and documentation.- Collaborating with HR, leadership, and legal teams on complex cases.- Educating employees and managers on grievance and conflict resolution policies.- Recommending policy improvements based on recurring workplace trends.- Ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and company policies.- Proactively monitoring the workplace to identify potential conflict risks.To excel in this role, you should have:- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.- Experience: 2-4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, focusing on Employee Relations, conflict resolution, or grievance handling.- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, adept at complex problem-solving and negotiation.- Attributes: High integrity, discretion, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and employment compliance practices.Your performance will be measured based on:- Average time to resolve grievances- Employee satisfaction post-resolution- Reduction in recurring conflict cases- Compliance with HR/legal policies- Feedback from managers and employeesThis is a full-time position that requires in-person work.
