Electrical Test Engineer

Job Description

As an Electrical Testing Engineer at Rivera Coil Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for executing advanced electrical diagnostic tests to ensure the structural and dielectric integrity of high-capacity generator coils, stator bars, and refurbished electrical components. Your role demands technical competence, safety discipline, and analytical strength to interpret complex test data and uphold Riveras quality benchmarks for 600 MW-class generator systems.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform advanced diagnostic tests on coils, top bars, and insulation systems, including: - TAN DELTA Test (Dissipation Factor Measurement) - AC High Voltage Withstand Test - DC Winding Resistance Test - Insulation Resistance (IR) & PI Test - Surge Comparison Test - Partial Discharge (if applicable) - Continuity & Polarity Verification- Ensure all tests follow OEM guidelines, IEC standards, and internal SOPs.- Prepare test benches, HV equipment, transformers, measuring devices, and safety grounding systems.- Analyze test data to evaluate coil performance, dielectric strength, insulation behavior, and conductor integrity.- Prepare structured Test Reports, data sheets, calibration logs, and traceability documents.- Execute all tests with strict adherence to electrical safety protocols, PPE usage, and HV safety controls.**Qualifications Required:**- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)- 0-3 years experience in electrical testing, coil testing, motor/generator testing, or HV diagnostics- Experience in generator stator coil testing is an added advantage**Additional Details:**- Rivera Employee Advantage includes perks such as complimentary meals, free accommodation, free PPE & safety gear, RO drinking water facility, provided uniforms, technical skill enhancement, and a professional growth environment.- Professional attributes required include being highly cautious and safety-oriented, diligent, analytical, detail-focused, strong team coordination, communication skills, high integrity in handling critical electrical assets, and a proactive approach with a commitment to quality excellence.This is a full-time, permanent job opportunity with benefits such as provided food, paid sick time, and provident fund.
