As an SEO Strategist at Grow Nearby, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, search rankings, lead generation, and overall digital performance for clients. Your role will involve evaluating websites and digital assets from the perspective of potential customers, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring best practices are followed across all online channels. You will collaborate closely with Content, Development, Local SEO, Project Management, and Client Success teams to deliver measurable results.**Key Role & Responsibilities:**- **SEO Strategy & Execution** - Develop customized SEO strategies based on client goals, market conditions, and competitive analysis. - Create and maintain SEO roadmaps aligned with business objectives. - Monitor organic performance and continuously refine strategies to improve rankings and lead generation. - Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, AI search trends, and emerging SEO best practices.- **Customer Experience Audits** - Conduct comprehensive audits from the perspective of homeowners searching for home service providers. - Evaluate the complete customer journey and identify opportunities to improve user experience and conversion rates.- **Underperforming Account Audits** - Regularly review accounts not meeting performance expectations and develop action plans for improvement.- **Website Quality & E-A-T Audits** - Review websites for content, functionality, user experience, and trust signals. - Conduct comprehensive E-A-T evaluations to enhance authority and trustworthiness.- **Technical SEO Audits** - Perform technical SEO audits covering various aspects including on-page optimization, metadata, schema markup, and mobile optimization.- **Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization** - Audit and optimize Google Business Profiles for local search performance.- **Google Reviews & Reputation Management** - Evaluate review quality, response consistency, and engagement to strengthen reputation and trust.- **Keyword Research & Competitive Analysis** - Perform keyword research, analyze competitor rankings, and identify optimization opportunities.- **Search Visibility & Performance Monitoring** - Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and user behavior to recommend ongoing improvements.- **Redirect & Technical Validation** - Verify proper redirect implementation and resolve technical issues.- **Content Strategy & Optimization** - Collaborate with Content teams to create SEO-driven strategies and optimize existing content.- **Reporting & Accountability** - Produce detailed SEO audits and performance reports, assign action items, and track progress.- **Cross-Department Collaboration** - Work closely with various internal teams to ensure seamless execution and improve campaign quality.- **Training & Professional Development** - Participate in mentorship and training programs to expand expertise and share best practices.**Required Skills & Qualifications:**- 35 years of experience in SEO strategy and execution.- Strong understanding of technical SEO, local SEO, and content optimization.- Experience with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.- Knowledge of schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and crawl optimization.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Familiarity with AI search trends and evolving search technologies preferred.
