Purchase and Store Executive

Job Description

Role Overview:As a Purchase and Store Executive at our company located in Veerapampalayam, Erode, you will be responsible for managing all store materials, verifying inward and outward materials, distributing materials to the shop floor, alerting expiring products, offering spare rates for quotation creation, providing spare rate and availability enquiries to cross-functional teams, submitting monthly stock reports, verifying and approving local purchases, assisting in vendor follow-ups, working closely with customers for spare enquiries, maintaining spare price charts, selling scrap items, and overseeing housekeeping activities in the stores.Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for managing all store materials and ensuring their proper storage- Verify inward and outward materials and update the system accordingly- Distribute materials to the shop floor above 100HP- Alert shop floor about any expiring products for timely utilization- Offer spare rates for quotation creation and provide support for spare rate and availability enquiries to cross-functional teams- Submit monthly stock reports- Verify and approve local purchases, assist in vendor follow-ups, and work closely with customers for spare enquiries- Maintain spare price charts, sell scrap items, and oversee housekeeping activities in the storesQualifications Required:- Experience in purchasing and store management for at least 3 years- Experience in Engineering Manufacturing industry is preferred- Location requirement: Erode, Tamil NaduPlease note that only male candidates are needed for this position.
