Job Description

    Urgently hiring male candidate for Payroll & Compliance Specialist role. He will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement, and maintaining strict compliance with statutory labor laws and company policies. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding legal adherence while supporting finance operations.Job Location Gurgaon.Candidate must have 3 -6 years of similar job experience. Early joiners will be preferable.Key Responsibilities:1. Payroll Processing:
    • Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
    • Collect, verify, and reconcile data related to attendance, leaves, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
    • Ensure proper handling of variable payouts, arrears, reimbursements, and full & final settlements.
    • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for employee changes and payroll inputs.
    2. Statutory Compliance:
    • Ensure timely calculation, deduction, and remittance of all statutory payments such as:
      • Provident Fund (PF)
      • Employees State Insurance (ESI)
      • Professional Tax (PT)
      • Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
      • Income Tax (TDS)
    • Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements to avoid penalties.
    3. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain payroll records, employee tax declarations, Form 16, and audit-related documentation.
    • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports and statutory returns.
    • Prepare salary registers, wage registers, and compliance checklists.
    4. Audit and Reconciliation:
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for payroll and compliance audits.
    • Reconcile payroll accounts with finance and ensure alignment with bank disbursements.
    • Ensure accurate year-end reporting and taxation of employee earnings.
    5. Employee Support:
    • Address employee queries related to salary slips, tax deductions, PF/ESI/UAN issues, etc.
    • Support onboarding with compliance documentation and payroll registration.
    • Provide clarity on compensation structures and statutory benefits.
    6. System Management:
    • Operate and maintain payroll software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Zoho Payroll, GreytHR).
    • Support implementation of new payroll systems or updates in line with compliance changes.
    • Maintain data privacy and security protocols.
    7. Vendor & Regulatory Coordination:
    • Coordinate with consultants, government agencies, and vendors for compliance-related filings and submissions.
    • Liaise with EPFO, ESIC, and other statutory bodies as needed.
