Job Description

The Accountant position involves managing and maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Your responsibilities will include detailed bookkeeping, reconciling bank and customer accounts, and handling marketplace financial transactions. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of all transactions and prompt resolution of any discrepancies.- Manage and reconcile transactions from various online marketplaces, ensuring accurate recording of sales and fees in alignment with internal records.- Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations by preparing and submitting GST returns, maintaining proper documentation, and staying updated on tax law changes.Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Experience with bank, customer, and marketplace reconciliations.- Knowledge of GST compliance and experience in preparing GST returns.- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.- Good communication skills.This is a full-time permanent position with benefits including leave encashment. The work schedule is during day shifts. The job location is in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh, and relocation or reliable commuting is required.Education: Bachelors degree in a related field is required.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, GST, compliance management, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
